Central Florida woman claims $2 million lottery jackpot

A 54-year-old Paisley woman has claimed a $2 million Mega Money jackpot, Florida Lottery officials said.

Doris Hastings bought the winning ticket at Paisley Discount Beverage on County Road 42. She chose to take her winnings in lump sum, which amounted to $1,628,212.43.

Hastings intends to use her winnings to buy a house and pay off vehicles she and her son drive, according to the lottery.
